Job Description

This is position in Zama's ZWS team.

Zama recently unveiled the Zama Confidential Blockchain Protocol, which enables confidential smart contracts on top of any L1 or L2 using Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). More information can be found in our blog post.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join the Zama Protocol team, with a primary focus on developing and deploying our solutions and development processes. You’ll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with a team of esteemed engineers, and play a pivotal role in ensuring the sustained excellence of Zama’s cryptographic solutions.

You will:

- Develop and maintain critical pieces in our SaaS tool, and more generally, build and contribute to backend systems supporting Zama products

- Participate to testing and debugging of the whole Zama Protocol stack, to understand and fix issues in our pipeline, especially when deployed

- Monitor system performance and scalability, identifying bottlenecks and implementing optimizations as needed

- Do whatever else it takes to make our vision a reality.

Preferred Experience

  • - Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.

    - 3 years of proven experience in an SW Engineer role.

    - Experience with Rust.

  • It's a bonus if you have:

    - Solid understanding of blockchain technologies and software and ecosystem;

    - Knowledge of different blockchain VM implementations (EVM, SVM);

    - Understanding of, or willingness to learn about, FHE, ZK, and MPC;

    - Exceptional communication skills, fostering seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing;

    - Understanding of software security principles.
