Job Description

We are seeking a technically skilled and client-facing Solutions Architect to join our Business Development team. You’ll be a key partner to sales, product, and engineering. You will bridge technical possibilities with customer needs, qualifying opportunities for Zama’s FHEVM solution, whether for a deployment on Zama Protocol or on a custom infrastructure, and shaping bespoke architectures where custom integration is warranted. You will lead discovery, advise on solution architecture, design proofs of concept, and guide customers from the first conversation through early implementation.

You will:

  • Partner with business development leads to identifying and qualifying technical opportunities with potential customers in TradFi and DeFi sectors for confidential tokenisation, Real World Assets (RWAs), etc.

  • Lead technical discovery, solution design workshops, architecture recommendations and proof-of-concepts (PoCs), plus run hands-on platform demos that accelerate time to first value.

  • Own the pre-sales technical process from scoping through integration planning and early implementation, collaborating closely on handover to the account owner.

  • Participate/lead technical discussions with standardisation entities.

  • Create clear customer-facing materials such as reference designs, architecture diagrams, onboarding guides, code samples, quickstarts, and OpenAPI collections.

  • Work with Product and Engineering to gather field insights on usability, reliability, and packaging, and align upcoming features with validated demand.

Preferred Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a solutions architecture, pre-sales/sales engineering, or technical consulting role—preferably in blockchain

  • Familiarity with Ethereum, Layer 2s, cross-chain protocols, and smart contracts.

  • Familiarity with privacy-enhancing technologies, e.g., fully homomorphic encryption (FHE), Multi-Party Compute (MPC), Zero Knowledge (ZK).

  • Experience working with clients in the banking sector, digital assets, capital markets, or Web3 finance.

  • Previous work with digital asset custodians and centralised crypto exchanges (CEX) would be a plus
